We'd be crazy not to take advantage of the all gorgeous weather we have been having this early in the year so that's exactly what we've been doing!
Riley was so happy that his best buddy Scout was able to come to the beach. Scout is in a full body cast (from falling off a swing) and is such a trooper! I've never heard him complain about it and he scoots around with no problem, its amazing! The fact that Scout couldn't play in the water or sand was no problem for Riley he just played right along with Scout having scooting races, hitting Paul in the back of the legs, Bey blades and LOTS of Popsicles
The tide was SO low that we could see the rocks covered with starfish. There were 100's of them! (I couldn't get a good pic because I only had my iphone camera) ugh. I was able to get two of them off the rocks for the kids to look at (trust me those suckers are almost impossible to pull off) and of course we placed them back in their home when were done admiring their size and colors!
This is where Paul would usually be surfing! I love Low tide and so did the kids!
Another benefit of low tide is the caves! We were able to explore them without fear of getting stuck in them when the waves come crashing in. All the kids loved it except for Sidney she wanted nothing to do with them. She's more of a lounger... haha
Notice Scout is sitting on his Aunt Tristen's lap! Well that's because he has the best Auntie and coolest mommy who make sure he doesn't miss out on any of them fun! The pushed him inside the caves in a Bob stroller and then carried him so he wouldn't get wet!
Scout has a little sister Navy that's a bit older then Sid. They play so well together and Sidney loves having her special friend to teach her cool stuff! Like trading Popsicle flavors, making girls chill spots and how to tease the boys! These two could be trouble in the near future...
And here's the boys, all hanging out after a long day of sun and sand and Popsicles in hand!
