Putting on the Ritz... For the Gingerbread of course

Before I get to the gingerbread I had to post these pics, Riley and Sidney are the best of buddies, we're so lucky that they get along so well!!!! Riley likes to wake her up in the morning and always says "I want to play with Sidney, wake her up"!

This is Riley watching the movie Tangled. For the 1st 30 minutes this is what he looked like because he thought the movie was TO LOUD!
Before we went to the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point we went to dinner at Smokey's BBQ
Tuesday night is Kids night and they had a guy making the amazing balloons! (Rileys is lightning Mcqueen and Sidneys is a Flower)

The Gingerbread house was actually a car this year. You could smell the Gingerbread even before you saw it, SOOOO YUMMY! After checking out the display we walked around the Hotel. We found this conference room with a tree and that was it. Sidney and Riley ran around, danced and played. They weren't to impressed with the gingerbread car but they couldn't get enough of this huge room.

Birthday Festivities

Since Riley's 4th birthday was on Sunday we decided to make the weekend all about him!
On Saturday we took Riley and his best friend (and cousin) Aven bowling. These 2 kids are non stop comedy when they are together.

Auntie Lou and Aven

Paul being the professional bowler he is (not) drying his hands

In between waiting for their turns the boys would just dance and dance!!! It was so cute!!!

Sidney was such a good girl, she sat in her stroller the entire time intrigued with all the sights and sounds
After Bowling we played a few video games

SUNDAY birthday breakfast

We celebrated with family, and it was perfect! Pizza, candy and cake. Presents, presents and presents.

Aunt Jami always coming through... Nerf guns!

4 years with Riley!

Happy Birthday to our sweet, loving, shy yet outspoken, silly, athletic, happy, thoughtful, independent, funny, ambitious, curious, fun loving, hungry, reverent (sometimes), cuddler, loving, big brother (who adores and is protective of his little sister) , and the best son any parents could ask for. Your birth changed our lives (for the better of course) you've been such a blessing and example, we cant imagine a day without you!
