Ellwood ranch

On our way home from Santa Barbara we stopped by a college friends of Paul's Ranch (Basically Acres and Acres of Avocados and lemons)!

Thanks Ellery and Troy for showing us around your cool ranch and being such good hosts to Riley!!!

Congrats Richard and Cari!

We had the most amazing weekend in Santa Barbara to celebrate the wedding of our friends Cari and Richard.  I am going to quote my friend Ahna because she described the weekend better then I can!

Now that most of us have kids, its not that often that we all get together - and we have a blast when we do! Friday night we attended a cocktail/rehearsal party at the Bacara Hotel. The hotel is AMAZING! Saturday, in the early afternoon, we were picked up by 3 huge coach busses to take the entire party an hour up the coast to the ever so private Ranch. If you are a surfer, you know "the ranch". Its an amazing stretch of coastline from just north of Santa Barbara up to Point Conception. It is gated and has very exclusive properties with limited access...Oh yeah, and the best surf spots. Its very hush hush and not talked about (to keep the exclusive empty waves) - but most people reading this are my family and already know about it anyways, haha. The wedding was beautiful & elegant yet simple. Exactly like Richard & Carrie. I have never seen anything like it before. We were on a private beach in the middle of no where, with endless miles of California coast line and not a building or house in site! Just a tent, a band, a staff of about 20 and 250 or so of the couples family and friends. What a way to celebrate! Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Woolcott!

Paul and I stayed at the amazing Bacara Hotel and we brought Riley with us. Sidney stayed behind on this trip...
