JOY

Some of my favorite pictures are captured my with Paul and my iphones. They are the random moments that make me grateful that my phone is by my side. Even if if the quality isn't great, I can still capture a moment. Here's a few from this past week, images that fill my heart with pure joy! And make me so grateful for my amazing husband and sweet children.

Cousins, Aven and Riley heading to our house to play, no real surprise that their conversation was about Star Wars and who was better Darth Maul or Darth Vader

If you ask Riley and Sidney who their best friends are they will undoubtedly say (Riley) Scout is! (Sidney) Navy is! I love the smiles these kids bring to each others faces, I'm grateful for the example they are to my kids (Scout and Navy can recite scriptures from memory, because their mom is awesome)!

Riley's new smile and one of Sid's favorite books, GO DOG GO!

Tea Parties are serious business for Sid. No matter the time of day, she's always a great hostess. This night she included pillows and blankets for her and her daddy, there's nothing sweeter! And because there is an opposite to all things, this is what happened when Sidney wasn't happy about having quite time. She destroyed her room, yes I made her clean it up herself.
And who doesn't love a little PHOTO BOOTH!

Riley's 1st Primary Talk

Riley was SO excited when I told him it was his turn to give a talk in Primary. I wrote it out for him and we chose the pictures together. He wanted to practice multiple times a day and tried really hard to memorize it, but I think he just liked looking at the pictures of himself haha.
When it came time to give the actual talk I held the pictures and whispered the words into his ear so he could repeat them. He did a great job and never even mentioned he was scared or nervous, and for a shy boy that's a big deal.  And Me-mom snuck into primary to watch and it made Riley feel extra special.
Now it's Paul's turn, he will be speaking at the adult session of Stake Conference this Saturday!

Something's Cookin'!

Its safe to say when you here pots and pans its Sidney who's making something!

Riley's so Fortunate...to have such great teachers!

Riley has been so blessed with 2 wonderful this year. Miss Dianne is a dream, an angel in fact! I wish Riley could stay in her home learning forever! Unfortunately he's to old and has to go to kindergarten now...Miss Richardson is his teacher at Our Savior's Lutheran school and she was so fun and loving. This is where Riley will be going until the 5th grade. He went 3 days a week this year for a few hours so he could get used to the routine of that school and now he's actually excited about wearing a uniform like the "Big Kids"!

To make the gifts I bought 2 boxes from Michael's and decorated them with Washi Tape and I filled them with fortune cookies and a gift card.
I downloaded the Circle Graphic "I'm so fortunate to have you as a teacher" Here for free.
