Island Hotels

There are so many beautiful hotels on the Kohala coast. We love to take advantage of their beautiful beaches and ammenities. It was even more fun this time because Auntie Lou was here, so we really explored more of they all had to offer!

The Mauna Kea is such a beautiful resort and has one of the best white sand beaches. Unfortunately the day we went Riley wasn't interested in getting near the water, he wanted to go back to Papa's pond. We did our best to enjoy the surroundings but Riley wasn't having it and was happy just lounging in the chair.

Riley eventually changed into his trunks and rash guard, but still wasn't interested in going in the water...

If you have kids and are going to the Kona side of the big Island The Hilton Waikoloa Village is the perfect place! There is so much to do and see. Water slides, Dolphins, a tram the takes you to and from your hotel room or you can take a boat! The property is gorgeous, and there is lots of art and shopping!

This is the Water fall at the Hilton, its so beautiful! But as you can see Riley isn't a fan, he would say "its to loud Mom"! haha such a funny kid.
