Baby Block Inviataions

I have been working on a Baby Shower for my friend Amanda for a few months now. I am so excited that this Saturday we will actually get to celebrate the arrival of her 1st baby boy! (She has 3 adorable daughters). I cant tell you why but once this idea for her baby shower invitations came into my head there was no stopping me,  no matter how many late nights in the garage it took!

I had 100 blocks cut at Ghanal Lumber, that part was simple...
Then they all had to be sanded!!!
Once they were all sanded I set up a table in my garage and took the gallon of Modge Podge I bought and got to work! One side at a time x's 6 sides and then repeated it all over again with the top coat over the paper.
The only side of the block I didn't post is the MAP to the location of the party,
which is on the bottom of the block.
I wrapped them up in cellophane, tied it with tulle and TADA!
And Luckily I had some help hand delivering these beauties all around Orange County!

I'll post pictures of the actual party next week :)

EASTER

Here's a recap of easter festivities...Not included is Easter Egg Dying because Aunt Kadyn was nice enough to do that with the Riley and Sid when she babysat!

Ms Dianne's "Funny Bunnies" but on a spectualr show for us :) And Sidney got to play with NAVY (Scouts Little Sis) whom she adores)!

Girls watching the performance and probably thinking... When do I get to be on stage?

Sidney wanted nothing to do with the bunny. The photographer placed a chair for her to sit in next to the Bunny but she picked up the chair and moved it farther away from him! OH Sid :)
I LOVE that Aven and Riley Love eachother SO much! They are always happy to see each other and at least once a day Riley asks if Aven can play:) Cousins are the BEST!
Sidney and Londyn The cutest girls EVER!

Sidney clearly telling someone to stop!
My siblings, who I am SO grateful for! They are the best Aunts and Uncles, and brothers and sisters anyone could ask for.

 Easter egg hunt at Memoms!

St. Patricks Day

I'm SOOO behind! Here is my attempt at catching up....
Ms. Diannes St. Patricks Day party...
Irish Jig, Pot of Gold (Found by the irish kid Riley) and best buds (Scout & RIley)!
I LOVE Scouts hat/wig in the pic below!

Riley LOVES Leprechauns, he's always trying to find and catch one! This year he was convinced that cabbage would do the trick! He had me write a note with VERY specific instructions, and set the bait!

Time to Swim!

This is the 1st time Sidney has taken swim lessons, she's a natural in the water and absolutely LOVES it! She cries when her lessons are over and has to get out of the pool. I love that she and Riley get to have their lessons together, and I have no doubt this girl will be swimming and water safe by the end of summer (if not sooner)!

Tea Time

Sidney LOVES having a tea party with anyone who will oblige. She sets the table, fills her tea pot with water and is the best little hostess there ever was. She's still trying to convince Riley it's fun, but he's not buying it. Thanks Grammy and Auntie Lou for being her "guests"...

Dynamite Dragons

I love watching Riley Play soccer, and I REALLY love that Paul is the coach! It makes for great Saturday afternoons and lots of happy faces :) Sidney is hands down Riley's biggest fan, she wants to get in all the action and when she yells "goooo Riley" my heart just melts. She's the best water girl, equipment manager and cheerleader there ever was!

Strike a Pose

Today's Sunday pictures looked like this.
Um, when did Sidney learn how to pose?!!!!
I couldnt stop laughing and she was totally eating it up!

I love the dimples in her elbows!

Paul and I are am so grateful that  Riley and Sid get along,  (most of the time) Sid adores her big brother and when she's not pestering him he's nothing but helpful and kind to her too.  I love how she's looking at him in this pic, it says it all!

NEWPORT BEACH SLAMMERS

Riley has been practicing with the U9 Newport Beach Slammers soccer team. He loves going to practice and always looks forward to it. This week he wasn't so excited to go and I couldn't figure out why. It took some coaxing (aka a bribe to take him to the dollar store) I was able to get the reason.

He said, "Mom, dad stands to close, I want him to be far away!" hahaha, I think it might have something to do with all the pictures and videos Paul takes of him. (Which is probably my fault because I constantly remind Paul to get LOTS of pictures :) So after I told Riley I would make sure daddy would keep his distance he got dressed and off to practice they went.
So in case I never get anymore pictures of Riley playing soccer (Yeah right) here's a few.

I love how little he is compared to the rest of the boys, he's such a stud and their size doesn't even phase him
Here's a video at practice, Riley is in the black shirt and red shorts.
