Riley LOVES motorcycles! He has a few that wind up and and he calls them "Dare Devils"! Paul taught him how to make "Dare Devil" jumps with cardboard and mini skate ramps. Here's Riley setting up for the big jump!

When it Rains and Hales!

With all the rain this week we've been spending lots of time inside.... Going on walks in the rain, dressing up with Mr Potato head parts, going to Dave & Busters to play ski ball, diving off the couch, playing foose ball in the garage, skate boarding in the house, making motorcycle ramps, playing fireman, and then to top it all off it HALED at our house this morning!

We love to visit Paul's Dad and his wife Lynn in Hawaii (the Big Island) whenever we get the chance. Paul went to high School there so its also fun for him to visit with his old friends. It was awesome to have Pauls brother Ryan there with his family so Riley could play with his cousins.

Colton, Trey and Riley watching the Dolphins Of all the beautiful beaches we have access to with nice sand (including the one 2 steps from Papas house) Riley's favorite one is in Puako... Why? Because he HATES the water and would rather throw lava rocks into the ocean then get anywhere near it! We managed to get him on a kayak with us but it only lasted about 10 minutes before he started saying "all done". We hope he grows out of his hate/fear of water soon because Paul is a waterman and most of our vacations are taken to islands! Ants in the Pants

Riley has been Loving playing Ants in The Pants... I can't believe how good he is at it too! He flicks those ants and gets them all in the pants in a matter of minutes! The best part is when he asks to play it, it sounds like "Anch in panch"

Hot fun in the WINTER time?

The weather we have been having here in orange county is awesome! Its the middle of January and it's 85 degrees! We decided to take advantage of it at our beach house in Laguna Beach.... It was an amazing day with an amazing sunset!

It's no wonder why Riley's FAVORITE thing to do is play soccer! I was going through old photo's and came across these. I totally forgot that Paul customized his play pen with a net! Its actually a hockey net but it fit perfect! (Riley is 11 months in these pics)

A Very Merry Christmas: 2008

Christmas Eve we met up with the Wall/Smith family members that were in town and Grandma Barbie and Grandpa Jerry treated us to a Chinese dinner! We enjoyed our favorie hot and sour soup, and multiple entrees... MMMMM

Christmas morning we met up again, this time at Grandma Barbie and Grandpa Jerry's house  for eggs benedict and sour cream waffles (bacon, hot apple cider, great grandma Gwen's recipe for homemade chocolate). Christmas jammie's... Boy style

This was Riley's 3rd Christmas (even though he's 2, he was Born December 5th 2006) but this was the best Christmas to date because he began to understand it! Every morning he would come into the living room and say "Christmas tree on"  (he wanted the lights on). When he would see Santa (anywhere)! he would say "Santa" and when he saw a nativity sense he would say "Jesus"... He's only 2 but his vocabulary is coming amazing and he wants to learn everything!

Cousins.... Riley and cousin Aven who in a few months will also be neighbors! Christmas dinner was AWESOME! (Thanks to Grandma Barbie) Prime Rib, Asparagus with hollandaise, mashed potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, homemade rolls, and Creamed corn (thanks to Lindsey Wall Wall)!
