Teacher's Luncheon

This was a luncheon for the teacher's at Riley's school a few moths ago. I had so much fun making all the vases and setting up the tables. Giving back to the teachers who do so much for all of the children is the best part.

To make the apple garland I bought the fake apples on sale after christmas (they are actually ornaments) and with a giot glue gun glued the twine to the top if the apples.
The Mini art Easel and mini Canvas are both from Michaels. I printed the food items on photo paper and used double tick tape to put them on the canvas.

I made these vases with a hot glue gun to adhere the pencils to the glass vase. Note, If you get any water between the pencils and vase when you are putting flowers in, the pencils will just pop off the glass. I really ran into this problem with the Ruler Vases (pictured below). If I make these again I wouldnt use Hot Glue but something like Epoxy5000.

ABC preschool graduation

I don't know who will miss Ms Dianne the most, me or Riley... I am so grateful he was able to spend two years in her class. I have know her since I was 8 years old, and its awesome that my children now get to experience her kind and nurturing demeanor.

Instead of balloons I hug beach balls from the ceiling (actually Paul did). I gave Mrs Dianne white beach balls for the kids to color in class and she wrote they were looking forward to in Kindergarten.
I filled sand buckets with snacks and used shovels to scoop them up! Animal crackers,

beach ball Goldfish and Dorritos Fruit roll up diplomas
Fruit Roll-Up Diplomas
I used a real tape measure for this grad hat bunting
Sidney and Riley love to be helpful, so they took turn opening the umbrella

Navy and Sid, I can't express how silly these sweet girls can be!
Thanks Lindsey (scouts mom) for making this banner, it was perfect!

Thanks LIndsey (Scouts mom) for making this awesome poster!

Riley's so Fortunate...to have such great teachers!

Riley has been so blessed with 2 wonderful this year. Miss Dianne is a dream, an angel in fact! I wish Riley could stay in her home learning forever! Unfortunately he's to old and has to go to kindergarten now...Miss Richardson is his teacher at Our Savior's Lutheran school and she was so fun and loving. This is where Riley will be going until the 5th grade. He went 3 days a week this year for a few hours so he could get used to the routine of that school and now he's actually excited about wearing a uniform like the "Big Kids"!

To make the gifts I bought 2 boxes from Michael's and decorated them with Washi Tape and I filled them with fortune cookies and a gift card.
I downloaded the Circle Graphic "I'm so fortunate to have you as a teacher" Here for free.
