Toy Story 3!

Toy Story is one of Riley and Avens favorite movies so we decided to go all out on opening day of TOY STORY 3. Both Boys rocked their new Adidas Buzz Light year high top shoes and "Buzz Wings" and off we went to the DISNEY EL CAPITAN THEATRE in HOLLYWOOD! The Movie theatre was awesome, VIP seating, 3D glasses,  and in my opinion the best out of all 3 Toy Story Movies. Downtown Hollywood is an experience in itself and I look forward to seeing many more Disney movies at this theatre. Another perk was after the Movie we headed to the TOY STORY FUN ZONE! (Across the street from the theatre at Hollywood Highschool) for free fun and games. We got to meet the characters, run through mazes, bike races, watch a live show and play with some toys and before we knew it we realized it was 7pm!!! Wow we couldn't believe how fast the day went (considering we left the house at 1:00) so we headed to the Disney soda shop for some dinner and made it home by 9:30. ALL of us were wiped out but I know it was an experience we will ALL remember!

6 Months!

Our Sweet Pea is 6 months old and happy as ever! Full of smiles and giggles and scooting around on the floor. She LOVES to wake up at 5am (much to our demise) but she makes the sweetest sounds as she lays in crib. Her little brother is best buddy and he loves her just as much!

Fun Night!

We love when Cousin Jami comes to visit... The kiddos always get a present and theres always lots of smiles!!! (And Herbie our dog gets a play date with Tasca, Jami's dog).

Sunday Mornings

Sunday mornings before church can be a struggle, and can be so fun! I hope I look back on all these pictures one day and laugh :)

It begins like this.... Riley wakes up, "Mom, its a Church day"! (We have Mommy days, school days and Church days) It helps Riley know what to expect that that day

We get dressed, and Riley (this last week) throws a fit because his "church shoes" are to small... So he has to wear his vans. (See the picture of him crying on the stairs). Thank goodness for my beautiful little sister Kadyn sleeping over on Saturday nights so she can help me on Sunday mornings!!y

 

 And I remind myself that this is the only way to do it...

 

Another Hummus Post...

Trade Joe's Jalapeno Cilantro Hummus has stolen my heart! (Don't be afraid, its not spicy) I'm sure you know about their honey wheat pretzels but put them together and its my new FAVORITE COMBO! I have to say Hummus is the new Mayo! Use a spicy hummus instead of a spicy cheddar jack cheese and mayo on your sandwich and you get a better flavor and similar texture! Thanks to my new VITA MIX blender (That my mom informed me was my Grandmother Browns favorite appliance) I am hoping to make some delicious homemade hummus combos! But until I figure it out, the Trader Joe's hummus will have to do!

A Love Story...

Happy Mother's day to all the Mommy's who read my Blog! This is such a wonderful day and I am so blessed that my Mom is MY Mom and Mem-mom to my babies.  I am so grateful to have the privilege of being a Mom to Riley and Sidney, they are my precious angels and make EVERY day worth while.

 

This is what Riley brought home from School for me. It SO funny, especially because all his comments have to do with things that we happened to do that week. Like Wash the car and clean the closets....
