I'm such a Big boy!!!

I'm 22 Months and....
I'm learning to use the Potty and when I "go" I get Jelly Belly's! Sometimes I go on the floor next to the potty, but Mommy and Daddy say I only get Jelly Belly's when I "go" IN the potty! I'm such a good eater! I love going to breakfast at the Beach House, they have the best pancakes!I'm practicing my painting skills, I mostly paint myself, and sometimes my dog. But it sure is fun! I love my swimming class, I even graduated to the intermediate level! And I can say my own name! "Riley White". It sounds more like "Wiley Whit" but it sure makes my mommy and daddy laugh when I say it.

This Week....

Paul decided he was sick of picking up other people's dog poop on our neighborhood's center island and decided to let everyone know... Riley fed our dog Herbie... He's got the right idea! We ate lunch at Olamendi's.....MMMM!
We watched daddy play soccer. Riley likes to be right next to daddy when he's on the bench. Riley's birth date adds up to 23 (12/5/06) which is why Paul chose that number. Coincidentally, that also happens to be David Beckham's number!
We had lunch with Isabella, these 2 play so well together, and Riley loves to share and play ball with her.

Last Seen in Ennis Montana...

Montana here I come!
Thanks to Papa and Tu Tu for providing us with the most amazing Cabin! It was surrounded by lush green lawns and all kinds of wildlife.
The moutains looked purple in the sunset, it was difficult to capture with the camera but it was so beautiful! We were also showered and entertained with heavy rain and thunderstorms but the lightening made it well worth it as it would light up the "Big Sky".
Riley loved going to the window and seeing all the animals that would pass by including cows, deer and horses. He really worked on his animal sounds this trip. Next time you see him ask him what a horse says, its hilarious!
Brown Trout The one that got away, that Paul would have let go anyway....
As you may know Riley is happiest when he has a ball to kick around. We didn't bring one on this trip because we didn't think we have a problem finding one in town. Little did we know that a ball would be so difficult find! Luckily after checking nearly every store in town the Hardware store sold us the last one in stock... A bright orange lopsided handball.
There are only a few places to eat in town and our favorite was the Ennis Cafe, Riley was all smiles after his Mickey Mouse pancake with whipped cream!
Papa and Tu Tu took us to The Yellowstone Bear and Wolf Discovery Park. Riley LOVED checking out the bears and growling like them too!
Playing with Uncle Larry's dogs Montana and Madison
Odell Creek Ranch and Wetlands
Riley went on his first river "float" down the Madison River. He was a bit weary at 1st but he managed to make it through with a smile on his face.
Having an Ice Cream Cone in Virginia City.... This Ghost town was so cool and filled with so much history!

Aunt Kadyn

Riley LOVES playing with Aunt Kadyn, she is easily his favorite person. This week she came over to spend the night and Riley had a blast playing blocks, watching movies, eating popcorn and cuddling with Kay-Kay.

First Swimming Lesson

Riley had his first swimming lesson today with Daddy. He wasn't very happy, but Daddy pushed him through it. On a positive note he liked walking on the floaty and jumping to Daddy and he loved getting licorice after it was over. Hopefully his next lesson will go better.
This face sums up his experience... "I DON'T LIKE THIS!"

Ocean Festival and Soccer Tournament

This morning we to the Ocean Festival at the San Clemente Pier with Jared, Lindsey and Aven. Riley ran up and down the pier and watched the "eeng" (that's how Riley says surfing).
And then we had a yummy breakfast at The Fishermans.
We met up again later in the afternoon in Fullerton to watch Aunt Kadyn play in her soccer tournament, her team won 1-0.
Riley LOVED sitting in Aunt Lindsey's lap, it was so cute, he just wanted to play with Auntie.
This is Riley trying to give Aven a high 5!
Go Kadyn!!!!
