Church Christmas Party

We went to my Moms ward for a Christmas Party. Dinner, playing with Aven, decorating cookies and a visit with Santa all made for a great night! It was great to be with family and friends and a good reminder of what the Christmas season is all about.

We're Ready

Sidney will be here in just a few more days and we are SO excited! Riley asks everyday "Is baby Sidney here"? He goes in her room, jumps in her crib and crawls in her infant car seat. What a great way to end 2009 with the addition of a baby girl to our family!

Holiday Performance

Rileys Pre-school puts on a Holiday Party and of course the kids had a performance. Riley is always talking about the "Music Man" who comes to his school once a week and sings with the kids. We love to see Riley with his peers and of course we think he did a GREAT job singing all of his songs :) Here's a clip of one of the songs "Falling Snowflakes" (Riley is in the back row in a black jacket)

My Adidas!

Riley is obsessed with track suits! We bought him one, and his collection has grown due to the fact he would insist on wearing the same one everyday! He even sleeps in them and his teachers at school call him "Track Suit Riley". Here are some of his favorites to wear (although there are 2 or 3 I still haven't photographed him wearing). Lets home his phase doesn't last long enough for him to start wanting to wear gold chains with them!

Birthday fun!

Our day started early with a pancake breakfast with Uncle Jared, Aunt Lindsey, Cousin Aven, Aunt Kadyn and Mem-mom and Grandpa. We opened presents, played with all the balloons and then it was off to the LA KINGS hockey game. It was the 1st game for Riley and Aven (which is a big deal in my family considering my Dad was a hockey player and a HUGE fan. Growing up MANY nights were spent in front of the TV watching Kings game or attending them). The boys LOVED the game and it was a great way to spend the afternoon. Thanks to my Brother Jared for hooking us up with AWESOME seats and even getting Riley's name on the Jumbo tron!!!!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY RILEY!

Today I am 3!!!!

I can't believe how time has flown by! We are celebrating with breakfast with my family and then off to the Kings hockey game with his cousin Aven!

He has 1 egg EVERY morning for breakfast and cracks it himself.

He insists on wearing Adidas Track Suits to school EVERY day, He loves playing baseball, jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, playing with his cousin Aven, going to Aunt Kadyn's Soccer games, singing along to his favorite cartoons, Sprite with maraschino cherries, Thomas the train, ridding his radio flyer scooter around the house, he can count to 10 in english and spanish, he knows his ABC's and loves to sing them in the car or bathtub

I cant wait to see what the next year brings, especially with the new addition of his sister Sidney. He's gong to be a great big brother, I just know it!

Thanksgiving 2009

We love going to Visit Paul's mom and Brother in San Luis Obispo any chance we get and we love spending Thanksgiving there too! We had so much fun with Pauls brothers and all of Rileys cousins. There are alot of pictures, but there are to many fun memories that I have to include them all!

Santa

Riley's annual visit with Santa Claus this year went surprisingly well. Yahoo!!! He talked with Santa, told him he wanted CARS for Christmas and didn't shed a tear!

Best Buddies

We LOVE living so close (one street away) to my brother Jared and his family. It is also awesome that his son Aven is Riley's FAVORITE friend to play with! These cousins get along so well and love to play any chance they get. As they are getting older they are spending more time together... Yo Gabba Gabba, dinners, play dates, Zoomars and Santa Visits have been a few of the activities this past month.
